I’m a terrible blogger I feel. I have like 3 of them and can’t be consistent with posting. But since my last post I’ve been busy. I did a couple shoots with the amazing Dorit Thies ( http://www.doritthies.com/ ) The first thing I helped her with was a personal portfolio shoot in her downtown studio. My lips are sealed about the actual content, but I will tell you it was a whole lot of fun and there were shiny rocks. That ought to spark all of your interests, so keep checking her site for when she’s ready post them.
I also helped her out with a health shoot, involving a whole lot of leaping and moving around. I had a light pack roped to my shoulder and a beauty dish in my hands and went running backwards to keep up with the model. Somehow, I didn’t fall over. Everyone be amazed!
I’ve also done a bit more assisting with Khoa Bui from my last post. The guy is pretty great and his work is phenomenal. He is adventuring into video and it’s great to see how seemlessly he is merging the worlds of photo and motion. His vids are incredible.
No pics from these shoots though. While they’re fun to take and have up here. They are secondary to my primary duties of being awesome, the best damn photo assistant ever.
